Our Story

Past & Passage was created by Sisu Media, an Ireland-based media and cultural research studio dedicated to connecting people with the layered histories that shape the places we inhabit.

The idea grew from a simple frustration: that mainstream travel had become increasingly surface-level — optimised for photographs, not for understanding. Sisu Media believed there was another way to travel, one grounded in curiosity, cognitive engagement, and genuine connection with local communities. Past & Passage is that other way.

Today, Past & Passage brings together a community of historians, cultural researchers, local guides, and immersive experience designers united by one shared commitment: making travel meaningful.
